Culture and Religion in Bangladesh

Bangladesh got its independence on 31 August 1957 and its religion is based on Islam being the dominant of all having a percentage of above 60, whereas other notable religions include Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and no religious affiliations. Because of that religion, the culture, norms and values of different societies vary from one another. Many of the native citizens who live abroad travel back to the country and seek their cheap flights to Bangladesh during the dates of Eid-ul-Azha, Eid-ul-Fitr, Christmas, Easter and many other religious festivals because almost 38 percent of total population is consisted of other major religions so that’s why many people travel to Bangladesh from different parts of the world.

 

Apart from the fact that the a vast majority of the country’s population is Muslim there’s no any restrictions from the govt. of Bangladesh on any specific existing religion and the believers can practice their religions without any restriction. But there are certain guidelines and procedures lay down by the central govt. of Bangladesh which is mandatory to be practiced and should be abided as the violation of those rules is considered as an offence and for which any one can be penalized. Any tourist booking his cheap flight to Bangladesh can’t face any difficulty in order to do his religious obligations.

 

There are number of big mosques and several churches throughout Bangladesh and there is no restriction on any one’s else religious obligations to perform. Among the most renowned mosque as Kampung Laut Mosque is one of the famous mosque in Bangladesh which dates back to early eighteenth century and there are several mosques quite similar to this mosque having the same pre history. Different people from different societies and different religions travel from different parts of the world in order to celebrate their important religious and custom festivals with their family and so they seek their cheap flights to Bangladesh other religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, and Atheist are also playing somewhat vital role in the country’s festivals
