Everyday life revolves around the new styles, what’s in and what isn’t, and what has the biggest impact in fashion is footwear. Today’s culture uses sneakers as the platform to their style. For example, whatever sneaker a person wears has to be matched along with the rest of the clothing, but when it comes down to footwear we all have many choices.

When it comes to the older generation, comfort and simplicity comes to mind. That’s why many people go for the more casual sneakers, the running shoes, and the dress shoes as their preferred styles. One way of thinking about it is the simpler the better. Yet the youth has a completely different mindset.

How different are the styles of the younger generation you may ask, well as of lately it seems, the more colorful and vibrant the better. Our younger generation is influenced by music, TV, magazines and their surroundings, and even more so when it comes down to footwear. The amount of choices they have is incredible, with basketball shoes, running shoes, casual shoes, and skateboarding shoes, to name a few. Add all the different brands and styles to the mix, and there’s no doubt footwear has had a big effect on our culture.

One of the most influential footwear brands has to be the Jordan Brand. It all started with NBA legend Michael Jordan wearing his own shoes in the NBA, and since then, the company has been growing with no signs of slowing down. Because of the plethora of sneakers being released to the public, with different styles and colors, Jordans have become one of the most favored sneakers of all time.
